
Conservation Summer School 2011
Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) in partnership with Heritage Without Borders (HWB) offered a week long conservation training course at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
The course was given during five days (19-23 September) where three professionals in Conservation from HwB did a series of lectures and hands on practical training using the museum's collections. The focus of the course was on Preventive Conservation.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 7th Regional restoration camp in Gjirokastra
During a two week period in this upcoming autumn, 50 students and young professionals from around the Balkans will gather in one of the most astonishing UNESCO protected cultural sites in the Region, the World Heritage City of Gjirokastra, to participate in what has become a prominent activity in this field for South Eastern Europe. The 7th camp will start in Prizren on 24th of September allowing participants to see some of the Kosovo’s rich cultural heritage, and interact through lectures and joint exercises with their colleagues from camp that would be organized at the earlier stage in Prizren. After 4 days spent in Prizren all you will travel down to south of Albania, Gjirokastra, where the activities will be continued and finalized on 8th of October 2011.
SEE HERITAGE NETWORK TIRANA MEETING and PUBLIC DEBATE
On July 12-14 2011, the ninth meeting of the SEE Heritage Network was held in Tirana, Albania. The meeting was organized by three member organizations: the Albanian Heritage Foundation, the Gjirokastra Conservation and Development Organization and Cultural Heritage without Borders, in cooperation with the SEE Heritage Network Secretariat.

The 5th Regional Restoration Camp in Gjirokastra
In September 2010, CHwB organized the 5th Restoration Camp in the World Heritage Site of Gjirokastra, Albania. The Camp was implemented over a period of two weeks (Sep. 12-25, 2010) with the participation of 30 students and young professionals from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosova, Macedonia, Ecuador, USA, Poland, and Italy.
