Seven municipalities in Kosovo sign agreement on cultural heritage

The aim is to improve the situation of natural and cultural heritage of the regions.

Cultural Heritage without Borders, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Ministry of Environment and public planning has signed a memorandum of understanding with seven municipalities in Kosovo.

The MoU which extends from 2013 to 2017, is part of a program funded by Sweden and aims to protect and promote cultural heritage through Local Cultural Heritage Plans. The aim is to improve the situation of natural and cultural heritage of the partner countries' municipalities, facilitate the integration of urban planning, tourism, cultural heritage. Program to promote the establishment of joint forum for open communication with civil society, business, marginalized groups, environmental groups and citizens.
