Seminars, workshops and courses are an integral part of the work Cultural Heritage without Bordersis pursuing.
Seminars and workshops are aimed at providing exchanges and hands-on work experience for the further training of Bosnian architects, engineers and art historians. The programmes are centred around specific questions that are currently important in BiH today and are arranged as joint projects between Cultural Heritage without Bordersand national and regional organisations.
Experience has so far shown that there is a need for more detailed discussions of the aims and methods necessary for restoration work in the country and are essential in stimulating Bosnian architects, engineers and art historians to develop their own skills in advanced restoration techniques. In the country today there is a real problem in the lack of any natural network for professionals in heritage management and museums. This applies both to internal as well as international conditions.
