Co-operation

Cultural Heritage without Borders is striving to work in co-operation with international organisations that either wholly or partly deal with questions to do with cultural heritage.

The Foundation’s framework allows for strong ties with ICOM (International Council of Museums) and ICOMOS (International Committee of Monuments and Sites). Some of the Foundation’s board members participated in the beginnings of the international network, Heritage at Risk, which is jointly run by ICA (International Council on Archives), ICOM, ICOMOS and IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions).

An early partner in our work has been the Swedish Unesco council and the Foundation took part in the Unesco meetings on Heritage at Risk. The Foundation has also good relations with the Council of Europé and its Cultural Heritage Committee.
